CEMS Field Service Technician

CEMS Field Service Technicians perform start-up, installation, certification, and training. A CEMS Technician also performs preventative, scheduled, and emergency service.

Technician Responsibilities

  • Routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of CEMS in the field
  • Conduct field start-ups of CEMS
  • In-house equipment repairs and testing
  • Write and conduct CEMS training courses
  • Participation in on-call rotation
  • Travel throughout the United States

Technician Qualifications

  • Minimum A.S. in electronics technology or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years CEMS industry experience
  • Knowledge of multiple sampling methodologies
  • Knowledge of stack gas monitors, probes, and gas conditioning systems
  • Solid troubleshooting skills — 4-20mA signal loops and DC circuits
  • Knowledge of 40 CFR Part 60 and 75
  • Familiarity with ISO-9001 certification
  • Willingness to travel and work outdoors
  • Proficiency in Spanish required

CEMS Project Management Consultant

CEMS Project Manager to coordinate all aspects of a CEMS project including quoting, negotiation, installation, and testing.

PM Responsibilities

  • Service existing accounts and establish new accounts
  • Develop and submit quotes and proposals
  • Keep management informed of market activities
  • Monitor competition and recommend changes
  • Resolve customer complaints
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge
  • Provide historical sales records

PM Qualifications

  • Minimum B.S. in Environmental Science or equivalent
  • 5 years experience in related field preferred
  • General knowledge of EPA CEMS test methods
  • Knowledge of 40 CFR Part 60 and 75
  • Familiarity with ISO-9001 certification
  • Ability to develop system estimates and quotes
  • Willingness to travel
  • Proficiency in Spanish required
