What is FTIR?
Fourier Transform Infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy uses infrared light to identify and quantify chemical compounds in a gas sample. Unlike traditional single-component analyzers, FTIR can simultaneously measure dozens of gas species in a single analyzer — making it ideal for complex regulatory environments where multiple HAPs must be monitored. Modern FTIR systems are fast, accurate, and require minimal consumables compared to traditional CEMS.
